This is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best.
Philippians 1:9–10
Overview
The Alpha Omega Westside Internship program is designed for college students & young professionals interested in exploring service and discipleship. The program focuses on participants’ spiritual formation primarily through Bible study and service opportunities. The objective is to enhance the interns' ability to discern among numerous decisions presented as they develop the ”mind of Christ” (Phil 2:5).
We will equip each intern with tools that will inspire their hearts to serve in the Westside community and beyond. Our initiative is committed to ensuring that all interns master the building blocks of discipleship so they can make wise choices in college which will set them up for the rest of their lives. Ultimately, our goal is to empower each intern so they can actualize God’s love through making disciples that follow Jesus in humble service and love.
There will be hands-on training throughout the internship and a formal evaluation and certificate given at the commencement. The program is sponsored by the Westside Church in collaboration with Chukwu, Inc.
